Situated in the heart of Mpumalanga and on the Kruger Panorama route lies our resort and Adventure zone. Mac Mac is halfway between Graskop and Sabie and is walking distance from the Mac Mac falls. The resort is made up of 4 self-catering houses overlooking the Mauschberg mountain range, and 5 Safari tented style type sites. Mac Mac Adventure Zone
The Mac Mac Quad Trails (and rentals) is an exciting adventure for quad bike riders that cover some “off the beaten” trails in the picturesque Mpumalanga Escarpment area. Most of these “off the beaten” trails are off limits to the general public. But now Mac Mac Eco Adventures & Getaways have a sole concession from York Timbers that allows us to take quad bike riders on an eco friendly exploration in one of the rich historical and most beautiful areas of South Africa. The houses all have a kitchen with cutlery, crockery, stove, fridge, braai facilities outside, a fireplace inside. The bedding is supplied.
Everyone needs to bring their own towels though. Currently the
houses do not have TV's inside, but there is a warm, cosy pub on the premises with DSTV. The resort use to be a forestry station. In 1999 Coen and Sonja Vermaak took Mac Mac over and started renting out the self-catering houses...........

We have 5 Safari Tents. The safari tents each have 2 single beds as well as a double sleeper couch. Each tent also has its own shower, basin and toilet. We provide a kettle and tea/coffee sachets and there is a convenient braai area outside.
